NAME OF MEDICINE :-SHRINGYADI CHURAN

CLASSICAL REFRENCE :- Chakradutta-hikkashwasarogadhikara.

FORMULATION COMPOSITION :-

Each 5gms. contains:

Kakrashringi (Pistacia integerrima), Harad (Terminalia chebula), Bahera (Terminalia bellerica), Amla (Emblica officinale), Saunth (Zingiber officinalis), Pippali (Piper longum), Marich (Piper nigrum), Kantkari (Solanum indicum), Bharangi (Clerodendrum serratum), Pushkarmool (Inula racemosa), Saindhav lavan (Rock salt), Krishan lavan (Black salt), Vidd lavan (Vidd lavan), Samundra lavan (Sea salt), Sauvarchal lavan-6.66% each of the above ingredients.

METHOD OF PREPARATION :-

1. Calculate  the quantity of the drugs mentioned under the SHRINGYADI CHURNA as in AFI-I (7:31)and as per master formulary record of the pharmacy for the required batch & quantity.
2. Accurately  weigh  the tested drugs from the raw material store and clean  them properly to exclude physical impurities/foreign materials. Again weigh  the drugs and adjust  their weight loss according to the master formula.
3. Clean  the pulveriser as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure).
4. Coarsely  powder  the drugs mentioned in the Yog and sieve  them from the Sieve  No.100.
5. Take  a  sample for testing and after testing the batch, the churna  is  sealed and labeled in well cleaned plastic bottles as per   GMP  mentioned in  D  &  C  Act   1940  and  the  rules  made  there  under.

DOSE :-  

2 to 6 gms. or as directed by the physician.  

THERAPEUTIC USE :-

Shringyadi churana is recommended in Acute & chronic cough & cold, fever, bronchitis and anorexia etc.

ANUPAN  :-            

To be taken morning and evening with equal quantity of Honey or as directed by the physician.
