PLATELET UP SYRUP

NAME OF MEDICINE :-   PLATELET  UP  SYRUP CLASSICAL REFRENCE  :-  PATENT AYURVEDIC MEDICINE  FORMULATION COMPOSITION  :- Tulsipatra(ocimum sanctum)-11.80%,Neempatra(Melia Azardirachta)-23.50%,Chiraita(Swertia chirata)-5.90%,Giloye (Tinospora cordifolia)-26.50%,Papaya leaves (Carica papaya)-23.50%,Pippli (Piper longum)-2.90%,Haridra (Curcuma longa)2.90%,Kali Marich(Piper nigrum)-2.90% METHOD OF PREPARATION  :- Calculated the quantity of the drugs mentioned under the PLATELET UP SYRUP as per  Master Formulary Record  for the required batch & quantity. Accurately weighed the tested drugs from the raw material store and cleaned them properly to exclude physical impurities/foreign materials and then again weighed the drugs and adjusted their weight loss according to the master formula. Cleaned the pulverisor as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure). Coarsely powdered the drugs mentioned in the Yog and mixed properly in the mass mixture machine. The coarsely powdered drugs are then immersed in sixteen times water for the preparation of decoction as mentioned in the master formulary record. The mixture is then shifted in an iron vessel and allowed to boil on moderate fire. When the one fourth quantity of water is left it is then stopped heating after which the decoction is filtered through the muslin cloth and shifted in another S/S vessel. Class II preservatives are added to avoid any fungus.  After which it is allowed to cool and retain for atleast one day so as to allow the essential wastage to settle down at the bottom. The upper portion of the decoction is then taken out of the S/S vessel and again filtered through the muslin cloth. Withdrew the sample for testing and after testing the batch, the syrup is sealed and labeled in well cleaned glass bottles which are already cleaned as per their SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure). FORMULATION COMPOSITION :- Til Taila (Sesamum indicum)-84.96% Siddhi done with Haldi, Mustak, Manjishtha. Accurately weighed the tested drugs from the raw material store and cleaned them and then passed through 20 and 30 mesh to discard foreign materials and then again weighed the drugs and adjusted their weight loss according to master formula. Cleaned the Pulveriser as per SCP (Standard Cleaning Procedure). Coarsely powdered the drugs of the above mentioned Yog. Coarsely powdered drugs were immersed in the water in an iron vessel and boiled according to kasaya nirman vidhi. When the kasaya is prepared, it is then filtered through the muslin cloth and kept aside. The required quantity of til taila as prescribed in the Yog was then taken in an iron vessel and heated up properly. Moorchan of the til taila is done by Haldi, Mustak and Majith in equal quantity. The above mentioned kasaya is then poured into the heated til taila and boiled again till the whole of the kasaya is evaporated. During the process continuous stirring of the above liquid is done. After the evaporation of the kasaya the remaining til taila is shifted to another iron vessel which is already cleaned and allowed to cool. Withdrew the sample for testing and after test released the batch for filling filtered the clear upper portion of the liquid and rejected the lower small portion of the liquid.
